A huge MHCGB in Hampshire proved a very wortwhile journey with MD and Chippys taking a great haul home! They got Champion and Reserve in the coloured section against all the 4 divisions of colours and then took a reserve champion each in other sections against some big winners.

We had a major upgrade of our whole CCTV system with each camera capable of sending an intruder alarm to our phones.

Another packed show at Saddlesdane at the end of the month was very rewarding with MD winning Mini Champion and 2 reserve Champions and his sister Boo taking 1 reserve Champion and Reserve Supreme of Show!

July 2020

Well we finally got the go ahead to get out competing again with Haysden Moneypenny storming it at Saddlesdane against 12 other miniatures!

Making the most of no competitions to catch up on maintenance and repairs , with the yard being given a new coat of paint , all the fencing oiled and new headcollar and saddle racks put outside each stable.

March 2020

We managed to fit 1 show in before the Lockdown Madness commenced at Crockstead. It was so busy but the 2 youngest Haysden members were totally awesome and beat all the bigger horses! Chippys won her youngstock class out of 13 , also the forigen breeds , was Champion Miniature and Reserve Supreme In hand Champion. Karma at his second ever show was a bit lairy in his first class but pulled himself together to win the part breds.

Then Haysden Lithium gained an award at the BSPA ball for being top 5 In Hand Horse of the year and gaining her ELITE GRADED MARE status - we are so thrilled!

September 2019

Layla finished the season in the most amazing style by taking Supreme Horse at the World of colour Championships. She was unbeaten all day winning the Sports Horse, Warmblood and Graded Mare. This fulfilled a dream for Jen who has tried for 6 years with 5 different horses to take this title and Layla even got her first ever photo in the Horse and Hound! Lil Dave competed again for the first time in 3 years and loved every minute of it and certainly remembered how to shine!! He took 3 firsts and Forigen Breed Champion.

July 2019

Md took both his classes at Saddlesdane on the 14th and Duke and Scottie came along to compete for the first ever time with some excellent results. On the 18th Layla achieved an amazing grading into the Head Studbook of SHBGB - something that has been planned since she was born!! Not many fillies achieve this so we are so proud to have bred this amazing girl. On the 21st all 3 youngsters competed at the Royal London and won all their classes with MD coming away with 2 Reserve Championships and a whole load of silverwear!!

All 4 babies made the long journey to Arena UK for the Supanova miniature championship show. It was Chippys first ever show and she was amazing with 2 wins , Boo had 1 win , Dottie a win and won Mary a trophy! But MD was amazing and won all of his 3 classes. Unfortunately the Supreme went on far too long for them to stay.

September 2018

We decided to end Layla's 2018 year on her amazing Bucks win so the only September outing was Miniature HOYS with MD . He was awesome gaining 2 firsts and 3 reserve championships and gaining his lifetime MHOYS approval. The roundpen was eventually finished , it has been completely rebuilt and resurfaced and also enlarged by fifty percent.

August 2018

Chertsey Agricultural show proved very succsessful for Team Haysden with a Ridden Supreme win for Chelsea and Bertie and an In hand Reserve Supreme win for MD. Boo and MD went to the MHCGB championships in Newark for 3 days and behaved amazingly and picked up a couple of wins but the best show of the year for Layla was Bucks County on the 30th where she won an amazingly hot Sports Champion!!! Totally thrilled is an understatement as this was the best quality championship she had ever been in and the judge adored her!!

July 2018

A long journey to Leicester shire for another MHCGB was totally worth it for MD as he took another coloured championship and won the scaled down hunter. Chelsea and Bertie Beefcake won Partbred Supreme Champion at their first ever TGCA regionals.and 2 more championships for MD at the Royal London show at Pachesham

June 2018

MD thrilled all and won another coloured championship at the MHCGB area show in Hampshire with Boo picking up a win and 2 seconds and Dottie a win and a 4th. Some odd judging saw Layla gain a second and 2 thirds at South of England on the 7th and a very busy south east shire show saw MD winning both his BMHS classes and Boo an awesome first and second. But more importantly they both measured in! A last minute change of horse for the Hickstead Derby meeting paid off as Haysden Spirit won Chaps reserve champion and MD wowed the judge to get a very close second in the youngstock , lovely to see a brave enough judge to put a miniature above other horses!

May 2018

The first County show kicked off at Newark and Notts with Layla winning the plaited colored class and a second in the sports 2 year olds , being a bit lively we took her to South East shows on the 19th where she won Champion and then pulled out all stops at Herts County on the 26th to win her first ever County Sports Championship , what an achievement for this home bred filly.

Two seconds followed at Suffolk County the following week.

April 2018

Layla competed at the BSPA Star show on the 15th where she won the plaited horse and then a long journey for MD and Boo on the 22cnd to the latter's first national show . They did not disappoint at the MHCGB Spring Champs and Boo won Pampered Pony Champion ,thrilling us all.

March 2018

The lovely Loftstar has gone on loan to a lovely lady in Gloucestershire to do some jumping and cross country. A huge decision but as Jen cant really ride anymore it was decided he needed a new home where he was adored in the manner he has become accustomed to , greatly missed here but he is having a lovely time. March the 20th saw the eagerly awaited arrival of a full sibling for MicroDave. So meet Microchip aka Haysden Skyfall an absolutely stunning black frame filly , what a future this little girl is going to have. Her older brother went on to win champion coluored miniature at Ponies Uk Spring Championships on the 24th.

February 2018

Haysden Liveries has become a nursery already with a gorgeous little orphan foal called Luke owned and bred by Sarah Goodwill. This stunning black falabella tragically lost his mum at 5 weeks old sop has come here to be bottle fed every 3 hours, Totally exhausting but so rewarding.Layla competed in her first show of the year - the BSPA winter nationals and won reserve supreme in hand horse , giving the most awesome trot in the evening performance , she also got a red preferred grading in the young stock evaluation.

January 2018

A quiet month with operation number 7 on Jen's shoulder!

December 2017

The last show of the year ended as well as the year began with MicroDave winning Champion. He is totally back to his lovely , cuddly self after his gelding in October. It was a hard decision to make but he was so unhappy as a colt it was deemed the kindest option.

November 2017

MicroDave had a few shows this month , on the 11th he won all of his 4 classes and gained Reserve Supreme of Show. Then MD and the 2 Foalies went out to Willow Farm. Haysden MoneyPenny was amazingly well behaved and won an enormous rossa and sasha for Champion foriegn bred foal , she also gained reserve champion miniature and 1st Reserve Champion Foal. MicroBoo won BSPA foal of the year , the third year running for Haysden , Layla got an awesome Youngstock evaluation score of 79% , won the warmblood youngstock and was reserve sports champion. MicroDave was rather naughty and colty but the judges loved him and he won the miniatures , res champ colouramer , reserve champ home produced and 1st reserve star , Rockstar won reserve champ broodmare and Lil Dave reserve champ stallion.Sadly Lumps did not make it to the VHS supremes this year so MicroDave went to his biggest show to date Mini HOYS at Keysoe and absolutely wowed the judges with 3 firsts 3 seconds , 1 Championship , 2 Reserve Championships and a presentation for the highest points across the day for 1 handler and horse!

August 2017

Lil Dave won the Non Native coloured at Chertsey whilst learning how to drive , he has taken to it like a duck to water! And another very close second for Layla in the Sports at Bucks County.

Another minimal pinto foal was born on the 8th , meet MicroDot or Haysden Solitaire. A gorgeous filly owned by Mary Seal. Layla gained a very close second in the BSPA youngstock at Suffolk County and another excellent second in the sports at South of England with some lovely comments. Lumpstar went the next day and won the Open Veterans , just a week after Jen's 5th shoulder operation! Sadly he could not carry on his winning streak at Norfolk County as it was 2' under water!

May 2017

The Daves went to the BSPA show on the 6th and took most of the Championships between them and Haysen Fatboy slim won Reserve Supreme at the South Eastern Cob show with Chelsea the following week. Lumpy had a practice outing at a very busy Poshnags show and also came home with Reserve Supreme and Layla did her first County show as a yearling and was amazing. At Herts County she won the Yearling Sports class , BSPA youngstock and BSPA Reserve Champion. But the highlight of the month had to be a suprise filly foal from Rockstar , aptly named MicroBoo or Haysden Moneypenny for posh.

April 2017

Layla competed at the BSPA South East Regionals - a momentous occasion as Jen actually managed to show her , she certainly did not disappoint and won the plaited class. Lumpy enjoyed his return to showing after 6 months a bit too much and had brake failure at Great Bookham and MicroDave won Miniature Champion at South East shows with Haysden Squibster taking two classes with Mary Seal.

March 2017

The Daves had an amazing day at the first show of 2017 the BSPA regional Championships . Lil Dave won the Native and Stallion classes and MicroDave was truly awesome winning Youngstock champion , Home Produced Champion and Supreme In Hand!! And then on the 19th Haysden Liveries was host to a Miniature Clinic run by Looking Glass stud - at one point there were 13 miniatures in the manage!

November 2016

What an amazing result for Team Haysden's first ever trip to Solihull for the British National Foal of the Year show. Layla traveled up the night before and stayed overnight which she took all in her stride. She then proceeded to gain Champion Coloured foal in the biggest class of the show - 31 foals ! But kept her amazing movement right till the end and gained Reserve Supreme Horse and had a half page write up in the Horse an Hound - absolutely delighted with this girly!

October 2016

A new show called Equimania in Buckinghamshire resulted in 2 wins and Coloured Champion for MicroDave in very good company. Lumpy was a bit too lit up for his own good and did not stay for the Supreme!!

September 2016

Orsett was the first show on the timetable with the Daves and MicroDave gained reserve coloured champion and won the biggest class of the day - the miniatures. Lil Dave won the foreign breeds with Daddy David showing him. Then the BSPA Supremes at Keysoe and 4 horses went in 2 vehicles. More success followed on the Thursday at Thame County show where Zonya won Sport Broodmare , Layla won Sport foal and then went on to take Reserve Champion Sporthorse , let us hope she carries on her winning streak in many years to come.

A first outing in the new lorry proved extremely successful for Lumpy at South East Shows where he won Champion In hand Veteran and Ridden Veteran even though he included a squeal and a gallop in his show!t,

Then the biggest show of the year for him - the three day VHS Supremes at Bury Farm., and he brought home an awesome haul of winnings. 6 firsts , Champion coloured veteran of the year ( second year running) Reserve Champion Strictly Dressage , 1st reserve Champion Open VHS Finals and 8th in the Supreme Veteran of the Year!

A fairly quiet month as Jen was trying to rest her shoulder but MicroDave went to Chertsey and was a total star - winning Supreme coloured!!! Some very full classes but the judge raved about him!!

July 2016

This month started off with the Daves going to Horsham and District Show , a show that Lofty has got Champion at for the last 3 years. June 2016

The Daves had a nice trip out to Suffolk County and showed their socks off , sadly the judge was not a miniature fan but MD managed a 3rd in a huge coloured and markings class. And then Lumpy won a huge VHS class at Great Bookham with a few pleased squeals to be back in the ring! And he managed to hold it together at South of England to gain 2 very close seconds with the highest display marks in both classes.
